On September 21st, 2011, AMC Theatres hosted its Annual Star Scholars Classic Golf tournament to raise money for the AMC Big Picture Scholarship Fund. The money raised is used to provide scholarships to the members of the AMC family as well as support AMC associates who have been impacted by natural disasters. In addition, the fund will also support national and local charitable organizations.
Garda Cash Logistics was well represented by Steve Collins and Jill Fitch. This year’s event was the most successful in all the 18 years that AMC has been hosting this tournament. AMC raised over $800,000; an amount equal to that raised at all previous tournaments combined.
